Description

As a Concierge Manager you will be tasked with building the new business vertical from the ground up. The role requires an enterprising, professional individual capable of managing the requests of high net worth individuals, providing a spectrum of concierge services seamlessly on tight timelines. You will have to build up a database of vetted, go-to vendors for the concierge services and continuously research competitor activities to always remain a step ahead. You will always exhibit high attention to detail embracing all core values of the company family and its inherent missions, goals, and directives. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work alongside the team of Senior Concierge Managers, Travel Consultants and Operations Managers to service the concierge requests of high net worth clients

• Coordinate customized and detailed services/activities as per Travel Consultants’ requests

• For travel services, the aim is to connect clients to each destination as if they are a local

• Suggest concierge services that leverage direct/personal knowledge of the client’s personality and desires

• Create and manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts that will allow Escapes to offer the best rates to our clients while ensuring the company’s profitability

• Network in order to establish relationships at properties and with other vendors

• Update CRM with approved vendors and suppliers

• Continuously research the latest hot spots, attractions, events at all prospective destinations

• Research in-depth experiences for clients, reading backgrounds of locations, possible activities, special events and general opportunities available during their travels

• Provide the customer with an experience that will always be remembered and with the highest level of service

• Coordinate social activities, diary management, restaurant bookings, theatre, organizing events, personal shopping, booking appointments, floral orders, purchasing gifts, premium tickets, and other forms of errands and entertainments when requested

• Support Finance department for all clients billing and support in the tracking of incoming payments

• Attend exhibitions, go to destinations to do onsite visits

• Suggest concierge related content for website/Instagram/blog

• Leverages shareholder networks and expertise to the build relationships

• Develop personal and diverse relationships within the travel, dining, luxury goods, and services industries

• Follow travel/destination blogs and follow/subscribe to relevant magazines and trade related sites/publications

• Stay current with travel/entertainment/culinary trends

• Analyse clients preferred activities in order to draw conclusions about preferences, both general, seasonal, and client specific

• Research, recommend, and exceed on customer requirements

EXPECTATIONS:

• Must be fluent in English and Hebrew

• Able to follow flexible working hours and/or flexible weekend as and when required

• Comfortable in fast-paced environment with tight timelines and quick turnaround requirements

• High level of attention to detail and be a self-starter

• Possess an exemplary positive attitude; is passionate about offering unparalleled customer service and excels in maintaining excellent associate relations

• Excellent phone manner and written communication style

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to understand cultural nuances

• Strong critical thinking skills.

• Comfortable speaking with VIPs and being both client-facing and supplier facing when required

• Work cohesively and as a team player
