Project Engineer Responsibilities:
Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team.
Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.
Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.
Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
Establishing field test methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those tests.
Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
Prepare all work instructions (such as installation and selection documents) necessary for equipment setup.
Collaborate with the designing team to properly implement ideas to complete significant projects and provide all engineering support.
Prepare and design all construction-related documents for the required supporting infrastructure.
Analyze all mechanical designs, sketch various concepts for piping designs and finally develop necessary mechanical drawings.
Provide support to all purchase activities and ensure the correctness of vendor submittals.
Inspect and analyze all mechanical equipment and ensure all these have adhered to the latest technology.
Coordinate with various teams to administer all ongoing assignments and check their status reports.
Evaluate and analyze all client requirements and prepare necessary designs as per piping specifications for clients and recommend appropriate alternatives and a backup plan.
Interpret all design codes and ensure effective performance of all piping activities.
Develop new methods and strategies to suggest improvements to all activities carried out by the piping designing team.
