Job Description

we are seeking a creative, hardworking, personable, and driven photographer to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in the visual storytelling and branding of our company. You will use artificial and natural lighting to aid you in creating strong photographs to appeal to our customers and clients. The type of pictures you take will depend on what our client asks for, but you will collaborate with a variety of creatives in both studio and natural settings.

Photographer Duties and Responsibilities

Takes photographs for events

Shoots corporate work that will be used for websites and other promotional material

Scouts locations

Creates budgets and proposals, including expenses for hiring hair, makeup, and retouchers

Helps to select models

Collaborates with the art director and client to ensure their need for the project is being fulfilled

Photographs landscapes, aerial, underwater, fashion, architecture, wildlife, sports, action, pets, real estate, vehicles, science, medicine, travel, food, weddings, advertising, graduations, babies, schools, and events

Travels frequently to photograph various locations

May take stills for motion pictures

May rework photographs in the Adobe photoshop and lightroom

Photographer Requirements and Qualifications

Practicing and self-teaching are essential

Knowing how to operate cameras and stay up-to-date with changes in technology and photo-editing software

Possessing a keen eye for when and where to set up and take pictures

Having the ability to set up lights and position yourself to get the best possible shots

Having the ability to work under pressure

Understanding computer software programs and having experience working with photo-editing software
