Essential Requirements:

**UAE Experience:**

- Minimum of 1 years of experience working in any restaurant or cafe within the UAE.

- Experience in assisting with kitchen food preparation and milkshake preparation.

- Experience working in a cloud kitchen and how to accept orders from Talabat & Deliveroo.

- Familiarity with UAE food safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

2. **Kitchen Maintenance:**

- Ability to maintain and upkeep the kitchen, ensuring it is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety standards.

- Experience in handling and maintaining kitchen machinery and equipment.

3. **Baking Skills:**

- Proficiency in baking various items such as waffles, Cookies, Pancakes, and other baked goods.

- Ability to follow specific baking recipes and instructions to produce consistent results.

- Portion and package food items for delivery, maintaining consistency and presentation standards.

4. **Opening and Closing Duties:**

- Experience in performing opening duties such as setting up kitchen stations, preparing ingredients, and ensuring all equipment is ready for use.

- Ability to perform closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, equipment, and floors.

5. **Inventory Management:**

- Properly stock food items in cold storage, ensuring they are stored at the correct temperature.

- Monitor inventory levels and notify the Manager of low stock or expired items.

6. **Equipment Care:**

- Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned thoroughly after use.

- Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the Manager promptly.

7. **Food Safety and Hygiene:**

- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

- Collect and dispose of dirt and debris regularly to maintain a clean workspace.

- Empty dustbins at the end of each shift, ensuring they are cleaned and ready for the next day.

- Ability to follow proper handwashing techniques, use of gloves/head covers, and other hygiene practices to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.

8. **Communication and Teamwork:**

- Excellent English communication skills to coordinate with other kitchen staff and the Manager.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

- Ability to read delivery or order instructions.

Additional Information:

- Location: Al Khawaneej Mall (New mall opening in November) - Google Maps: https://g.co/kgs/9V78AAh

- Candidate must have their own visa.

- Shift start and end time: Afternoon till late, 6 days a week.

- Food Safety training course provided.

- Travel allowance/arrangements provided.

- Willing to work weekends and holidays.
