Description
Our client, a large retail and distribution company of consumer electronics is seeking to hire a Transport Manager to be based in Saudi Arabia. This role will be in the logistics department of the business reporting to the Group Head of Supply Chain.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the provision of transport solutions for all channels and especially Direct Distribution, to meet customer requirements for speed, location, timeliness and cost.
Ensure Capacity Planning for transport (sufficient trucks,
vans motor bikes to meet demand)
Optimisation of Transport network: location and inter-
channel
Identify opportunity for service and cost improvements
Ensure Fleet in maintained and all regulations met
Manage team of 8
Manage 3PL contracts

DAKSADA is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Transport Manager - UAE/KSA in the field of Other in one of their office located in Riyadh, Jeddah - Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have bachelors in logistics qualification and atleast 10 years of experience. The position require large, retail, distribution, company, consumer, electronics, logistics, business, reporting, group, supply, provision, solutions, direct, customer, requirements, capacity, planning, channel, service, cost, fleet, regulations, team, contracts, fluency in english, knowledge of supply chain, 3 pl contract management, own fleet management, leadership, team working skills, knowledge of applicable laws and regulations mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.
