Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and organized Storekeeper. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing wood, hardware, Ironmongeries, and joinery fittings, with excellent inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.

• Issue materials as per approved requisitions or work orders.

• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and update inventory management systems.

• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and arrangement of all materials.

• Monitor the movement of fast-moving and slow-moving items and report shortages or excess.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.

• Coordinate with the procurement department and site supervisors for material needs.

• Ensure proper handling and storage to prevent material damage or wastage.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a storekeeper in hardware, building materials, joinery, carpentry, fit-out companies.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
