Summary/Objective

In this Product Specialist sales role, you will sell SCION Instruments Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometer (MS) systems and solutions to commercial, government, and academic institutions in the territory. As a sales engineer, the candidate must develop and execute a successful business plan that will result in maintaining and growing the current customer Installed Base, proactively building customer relationships via face to face visits and maintaining customer satisfaction by promptly responding to all customer needs and requests. The business plan will include the yearly sales forecast and achievable targets. The candidate must actively prospect for new sales opportunities and new customers as well as manage the existing customers.

Essential Functions

• Develop and deploy unique ways to reach customers

• Develop customer relationships

• Prospect for new opportunities

• Sell to existing and potential direct accounts as well as provide sales support to distribution partners to participate in closing.

• Support Chromatography Analyzers Configurations to meet customer needs and applications.

• Follow up on leads promptly and communicate the progress

• Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle that will vary from days to years

• Successfully negotiate complex sales transactions

• Handle complex demands and relationships

• Provide market and product feedback

Requirements

• Must have technical knowledge of Gas Chromatography, liquid chromatography and Mass Spectrometry

• Solid experience with MS Office

• Good Communication and Negotiation Skills with a passion to cater to repeat business

• Excellent presentation skills

• Knowledge of typical laboratory equipment such as balances, Freezers, UV-Vis would be beneficial but not essential

• Positive Attitude

• Hardworking & Dedicated

• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time
