Description
BSc in Science in mathematics
A Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Math
A strong background in mathematical and statistical modelling
Fundamentals Sciences
Analyzes and reports quality analytics
Develops testing procedures and control groups to determine optimal program performance
Utilizes statistical software to mine and analyze data to support quality initiatives
Prepares detail and summary level reports including written interpretation of analytic results
Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle to include independent testing and data verification
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Willingness to learn, solve problems and perform in a dynamic work environment
Previous experience working as a Quant Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist or Big Data Analyst - desirable
Degree in maths / statistics / machine learning / econometrics essential
Experience using C++ or Python is highly regarded, although Matlab & R experience will also be considered
Strong algorithmic coding skill and solid knowledge of data structures
Experience with statistical forecasting essential
Understanding of machine / statistical learning techniques such as non-linear regression, kernel regression, support vector machines (SVM), neural networks, classification trees and similar techniques very beneficial
Develop analytic frameworks to support research effort in demand forecasting to enhance company's capability in making strategic product decision in a regulated any industry and highly competitive market environment.
Demonstrated experience and success interpreting research requests, developing analysis plans, performing high-level statistical analysis, statistical sampling, and computing required samples sizes.
