Description

Logistics Manager

• Plan and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, and distribution
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability
• Oversee warehouse operations, storage, and dispatch processes
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Track shipments and resolve any delays or issues in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and safety standards
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and prepare reports for management
• Negotiate contracts and rates with transport providers and suppliers
• Lead, supervise, and train logistics staff

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar supply chain role
• Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation regulations
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management software/ERP systems
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
