Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lectra System Operation:
o Operate Lectra CAD/CAM systems for pattern making and fabric cutting.
o Ensure that all patterns are accurately digitized and stored in the Lectra system.
2. Pattern Making and Grading:
o Create, modify, and grade patterns according to design specifications and size ranges.
o Collaborate with designers and production managers to ensure patterns meet design requirements and production standards.
3. Fabric Cutting:
o Set up and operate Lectra fabric cutting machines to cut fabric according to specified patterns.
o Monitor the cutting process to ensure precision and minimize fabric waste.
4. Quality Control:
o Inspect cut fabric pieces for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet established standards.
o Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the cutting process.
5. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
o Perform routine maintenance on Lectra machines to ensure optimal performance.
o Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with the Lectra system and equipment.
6. Documentation and Record Keeping:
o Maintain detailed records of patterns, fabric usage, and cutting activities.
o Prepare and update reports on production metrics and machine performance.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with the design, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless production processes.
o Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or changes in production requirements.
8. Safety and Compliance:
o Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating Lectra equipment.
o Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in Lectra systems is preferred.
• Proven experience operating Lectra CAD/CAM systems and fabric cutting machines.
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, grading, and fabric cutting techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Job Specification

The ideal candidate should have high school diploma or equivalent qualification and atleast 2 years of experience. The position require system, pattern making, fabric, cutting, grading, grade, design, specifications, production, requirements, standards, monitor, process, precision, waste, quality control, quality, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance, technical, company, technical training mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.
