Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in executing an ongoing strategy for E-Commerce, inclusive of both sales and marketing plans.
• Day-to-day management of the ecommerce website including; product and content upload, writing product descriptions, site optimization and merchandising.
• Inventory/Pricing update
• Web designing and day today website amendments.
• Responsible for the delivery of the online sales plans, and contribute to the regular re-forecasting process throughout the year.
• Create the merchandising strategy for the website to ensure key products are featured prominently, and cross-sell & up-sell opportunities are maximized.
• Ensure necessary content for all on site campaigns is being developed and delivered within set deadlines.
• Produce seasonal product sell-through analysis.
• Define online KPI's and provide weekly and monthly trade summaries and reports Acquisition & CRM.
• Plan ongoing customer acquisition and retention strategies.
• Drive new customer acquisition via channels including; PPC (Pay-Per-Click), SEO, Paid Social, Display and Affiliates
• Continuously seek new ways of understanding and fulfilling the needs of our customers, improving customer satisfaction in the shopping funnel and journey. Work closely with technology and brand teams to identify and drive opportunities to optimize navigation and usability to maximize conversion.
• Deal with customer queries/complains.
• Actively grow subscriber database and drive data capture initiatives within the business
• Good knowledge of ESP's (Extra sensory perceptions) and the ability to plan, build and send regular email newsletters plus set up basic automated email campaigns
• Manage all 3rd party agency relationships Operations
• Management of 3PL (3rd party logistics) provider
• Ensure optimum stock levels are maintained and OOS (out of stock) are managed effectively and provide stock updates to online customers to avoid out-of-stock situation.
• Ensure all payment processing, fraud management and post-purchase customer service for the online channel are managed effectively
• Manage seasonal ecommerce product photography shoots
• Confirmation and processing of PO's.
• Confirming and processing daily orders received on any E-Commerce portals where we sell our products.
• Uploading Invoices for direct orders.
• Extract sales and inventory data and prepare reports for all seller accounts
• Coordination with the Warehouse team to ensure deliveries are done on time.
• Regular price surveys and coordination with team
• Process sales subsidiary orders and manage the full cycle process. This will include handling the entire process from order entry to shipment releases.
• Facilitate end to end process steps, ensuring timely and error free results.
• Support in Planning & Executing the entire process of fulfilling customer contracts from order entry to release under leader supervision.
• Daily updating of order status and sharing with the related department Supply Chain & Logistics along clients.
• Weekly sales closing, order earliness monitoring and dispatch documentations.
• Assist in clearing Back Log orders and closing the same in conjunction
• Communicate with the sellers for product availability, stock, alternative product, price negotiation
• Processing RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) as per guidelines.
• Perform validation of customer orders and all necessary internal approvals prior to processing orders.
• Work closely with Inventory team to ensure proper cataloguing of items
• Research fresh strategies to augment business growth online
• Generate reports and useful insights in order to provide recommendations for improvement
• Monitoring weekly budget/spend and suggesting budget optimizations.
• Tracking sessions & conversion rates against targets.
• Tracking sessions, cost of sale and revenue to optimize campaign performance against set targets.
• Working closely with existing networks and setting up new networks to drive traffic and new customer acquisition.
• Evaluation of transactions on a weekly basis and reconciliation of transactions after 30 days.
• Routine in-depth review and reporting of various publishers or vendors & offers and reporting
• Utilizing Google Analytics daily to track digital marketing performance across all key channels
• Producing weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reports with key insights and optimizations.
• Driving sales to achieve weekly and monthly sales targets
• Data analysis on competitive products and competitors to adjust category strategy based on assessment of the competitive landscape and emerging online trends. Daily monitoring of incoming product to ensure the product listings are maintained and updated.
• Monitor stock levels and product turns to ensure timely replenishment and depth of assortment.
• Responsible for increasing on-site search conversion and sales through continuous optimization.
• Add structured markup language to the backend of their product pages to help search engines index them properly because this makes it easier for the search engine to know the information on a given page, there’s potential for a rankings boost, too.
• Optimize for voice search will help voice to search for products, brands that optimize their content for these search terms will have the upper hand in grabbing organic traffic from search engines.
• Focus on site speed, including site speed, header tags, and interactive media the images link to the product pages where interested parties can purchase easily.
• Try filters and QR codes, QR codes in print ads allow consumers to easily visit advertisers’ websites these QR codes are usually dynamic which allows users to unlock new offers at different times of the day.
• Send personalized emails especially personalized ones to help keep customers coming back.
• Issue coupons, which applies discount codes for users when they check out, found coupons are the way to go. That’s in part because nearly one in three shoppers actively look for discount codes nearly every time they make a purchase online—and that’s expected to go up in the coming year.
• The average ecommerce return rate hovers around 20-30% there are predictable and common reasons for returns, such as: sizing issues, wrong gifts, purchase of multiple products with an intent to return some/all, or a failure to set correct customer expectations.
• When it comes to wording your no refund policy, keep it as simple and straightforward as possible. Avoid legalese and forceful language such as “you must” or “you need to.” Make the refund process easy to understand for your customers.
