Description

Our client, a multinational company specialised in diagnostics and rare disease testing is seeking to hire a Commercial Manager, for the Middle East region.

We are looking for a Commercial manager for the Middle East, covering GCC plus neighbouring countries, to build the Clinical Diagnostics and Clinical Genetics business of Eurofins for the region. The person will have 2-3 direct reportees initially (Dubai, Saudi primarily), and will report to the Regional director, India and Middle East. The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

1. distributor / channel management,

2. customer conversion,

3. building sales revenue,

4. managing receivables,

5. people management (own and distributor salesforce),

6. participation in government / semi-government tenders.

He / she will also help in identifying leads for acquisitions in the region. Knowledge of Arabic will be important, and the candidate has to be based in the region.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking somebody who knows the region and understands Clinical diagnostics. Would prefer if he/she has sold / has exposure to Genetic testing / rare diseases testing.
