Description

Job Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of this job role is handling technicality of the products that the company orders from China.

Please note the role requires travelling outside UAE to China on Business Trips.

• To undertake and co-ordinate the process of procurement of Home appliances, equipment, engineering spare parts, chemicals and raw materials from the domestic and overseas (China) suppliers as per the Company procedures.

• Preparing commercial and assisting in technical bid analysis.

• Pre-qualify and prepares list of qualified bidders for the requested items by using past experience and knowledge of the market to select the most appropriate suppliers.

• Providing techno-commercial recommendation for award and preparing purchase order for further processing.

• Deals with queries from the suppliers as well as the users (various Divisions of the Company) to ensure that the correct goods are delivered as per the committed time frame.

• Correspondence with suppliers and users to ensure that either party is aware of the requirements or commitments.

Job Requirements:

The candidate must be able to communicate in Mandarin fluently as the main purpose of the role is to deal with clients from China

• Should possess 1-2 years experience in a similar role

• Having experience in manufacturing or purchasing home appliances is preferred

• Strong skills in reading, writing and speaking English & Mandarin

• Must possess knowledge in home appliances

• Should be based in UAE currently
