Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and month-end reconciliations.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.

• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.

• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial data and provide recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.

Tax & Compliance:

• Prepare and file necessary tax documentation, including sales tax, payroll tax, and other business-related filings.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and government regulations.

• Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by collecting financial data and preparing projections.

Auditing & Internal Controls:

• Assist with internal audits and external audits by providing required documentation and information.

• Monitor internal controls to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.

• Software & Systems:

• Maintain and update accounting software and ensure data accuracy.

• Leverage financial systems for reporting and process improvement.
