Required Position: Welding Inspector for Steel Structure Industry

A leading manufacturer of Steel Structures in Middle East and a market leader in UAE is looking for a Welding Inspector.

Salary Offer: AED 3,000 – AED 4,000 with Accommodation, Transportation and OT Pay

Job Description:

• To inspect all fabricated elements related to Material preparation and Monitoring of welding activities & visual inspection of welds

• Applicable Welding procedure specification is available and displayed in the working station

• Welding machines are in safe and suitable for Job

• Check the calibration of equipment/Machines/measuring instruments

• Check the welding Consumables & maintain them to use as per WPS

• Verify welder qualifications records with identification & range of approval etc. are being used for welding as applicable

• Allocate the job for welders on production line

• Monitor and Inspect the welding process /Technique

• Check the welding parameters and control as per requirement of WPS and applicable Code. Prepare Parameters record on Daily basis

• Inspect the welding is in compliance with WPS, Drawing requirement and applicable code

• Perform Visual inspection prior to transfer the member for cleaning and Painting

Minimum Requirements:

Certification in Welding

Certificate of PCN Level II

ITI or Technical qualification

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in steel fabrication inspection
