Description

We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The Warehouse Assistant will play a vital role in managing inventory, ensuring efficient operations, and contributing to the overall success of our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments; organize and maintain inventory.

Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.

Data Entry: Update inventory records, shipment details, and other information in the system.

Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, damages, or discrepancies and report issues.

Material Handling: Operate forklifts or other equipment to move and store materials.

Documentation: Maintain organized records of inventory transactions and movements.

Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate with carriers and suppliers for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.

Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Health and Safety: Follow proper safety protocols and guidelines in warehouse activities.

Requirements

Experience: 1 year minimum

Education: Secondary certificate is required

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.

Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.

Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy items.

Team player with strong communication skills.

Forklift operation certification is advantageous.

Positive attitude and adaptability to changing tasks.
