JOB OVERVIEW

To motivate and encourage students to take part in activities and excursions, leading by example. To engage students in all activities and help them to use their language skills and encourage them to maximize their stay in the UAE.

JOB TASKS

•Do not allow students to undermine or bully other people in the class.

•Read risk assessments provided.

•Work in a professional and competent matter including:

•keeping accurate and detailed records of participants. Relevant paperwork will be issued by the Junior Course Manager

•Preparing and planning outings including being aware of student numbers, students’ names, health requirements and special needs & ages, travel plans, entry requirements, educational worksheets and risk assessments of the activity or excursion

•Planning and running afternoon activities

•Preparing adequate copies of material needed prior to the trip starting

•Being with the students at all times to supervise and encourage them to speak English

•Being punctual at all times and encouraging students to be punctual

•Submitting copies of all receipts to the Administrative Assistant

•Completing any paperwork if the students have medical issues, have misbehaved or show any signs of needing support

•Being aware of what to do if any member of staff or student is taken ill

•Attend training courses provided

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES & TRAINING

• Native-level English speaker

• Enthusiastic and positive about the role

• Excellent communication skills

• Able to work both as an individual and part of a team

• Energetic and quick to learn

PREFERRED SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES & TRAINING

• First aid qualification

• Experience of working with children

• Computer literate and proficient with video editing software.

Job Specification

Dubeduca is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Summer Camps Activity Leader in the field of Education in one of their office located in Dubai - United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate should have education or training in recreation, education, or related field, experience working with teenagers in school, or recreational setting qualification and atleast 1 year of experience. The position require leadership, communication, organization, creativity, problem-solving, adaptability, teamwork, empathy, enthusiasm mandatory skills. This is a Temporary/Contract morning shift job.
