Senior Accountant (Manufacturing Background is MUST)

Job Location – Dubai

Salary – AED 10,000

Looking for Senior Accountant with a Manufacturing background having UAE experience.

Education & Experience-

Experience manufacturing industry is a must.

Bachelor or equivalent degree in Accountancy. Qualified CA/ CMA or equivalents are preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to work on computers (MS Windows, MS Office & Accounting Software)

Job Description –

• Responsible to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

• Responsibility for preparation of monthly financial statements and analysis and interpretation of the company’s financial performance and annual financial statements

• Timely and accurate preparation, consolidation and presentation of weekly and monthly financial statements and reports

• Manage financial reporting, payroll, fixed assets register, payment disbursements including cheques, cash and wire transfers, and ensuring all aging receivables and aging payables are processed through an adequate cash management and credit control.

• Managing Bank Guarantees and Letter of Credits

• Maintain proper fixed asset records and pass monthly entry

• Ensure Capital expenditure is done as per budget

• Liaising with Internal and External Auditors for provision of required information and documents.

• Other MIS reports as required by Management, i.e. Bank balances and facilities fortnight report, bank balances report etc.

• Compliance to related SOP

• Part of risk management team and manage related risks

• Hands on experience in filing VAT returns
