Description

A Leading Energy Solutions company is looking to hire Energy Auditor

Job Location - Dubai

The position holder will be in charge of conducting energy audits and as well as the measurement and verification of energy savings 

Job Responsibilities -

1)Conduct energy audits and technical studies aiming at profiling the energy consumption and efficiency of buildings, with special focus on HVAC systems (chillers, pumps, FAHU, DX AC…)

2)Measure energy usage with devices like data loggers, universal data recorders, light meters, sling psychrometers, psychrometric charts, flue gas analysers, amp probes, watt meters, volt meters, thermometers, or utility meters.

3)Conduct measurements at customer’s facilities using specialized equipment such as power analysers, flow meters, thermal cameras, etc.

4)Analyse and identify potential improvements to reduce building’s energy demand, describing working principles of the proposed retrofit and control solutions.

5)Analyze energy bills including utility rates or tariffs to gather historical energy usage data.

6)Analyze technical feasibility of energy saving measures using knowledge of engineering, energy production, energy use, construction, maintenance, system operation, or process systems.

7)Determine patterns of building use to show annual or monthly needs for heating, cooling, lighting, or other energy needs.

8)Examine commercial sites to define the feasibility of installing equipment that allows building management systems to reduce electricity consumption during peak demand periods.

9)Inspect newly installed energy-efficient equipment to make sure that it was installed properly is performing according to specifications.

10)Prepare audit reports containing energy analysis results or recommendations for energy cost savings.

11)Conduct the measurement and verification of savings after the implementation of energy conservation initiatives.

Education Requirements:

Must be a Certified Energy Auditor / ASHRAE Certified
