Description

A leading Manufacturing company is looking to hire Cost Accountant.

Job Location - Dubai

Salary - Upto AED 9,000

Job Responsibilities

•The Cost Accountant will be accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities.

•Must be able to construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.

•Responsible for Cost Accounting, which involves analyzing financial data, obtained through evaluation, to determine the cost of business products and services.

•Responsible for performing rate calculations, and for product and cost estimates.

•Comparing actual cost to estimates and identifying reasons for variances.

•Providing management with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures.

•Providing financial analysis to evaluate special projects, programs, products costing, etc. when necessary.

•Lead in developing and verifying data relevant to cost accounting and margin analysis.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Development of good cost accounting systems in two ways 

Pricing structure

Costing structure.

Making proper profitability analysis of Job Order

Report on break even points by products, work centre's, and factories

Report on profitability margins by product and division

Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances, prices and quantity variance

Analyse capital budgeting – buy or rental decisions or new and proposed products.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar position. 

Should have min. 4 years experience working as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing company.

ICMA/CMA bachelor degree similar position.

Expertise in understanding complex cost structure / pricing structure

Able to make expenses analysis and cost computations

Knowledge in Tally system or accounting packages will be added advantages

Oracle knowledge will be added advantages
