Description
The Regional Implementation Manager is responsible for leading Implementation Team Leads and Senior Implementation Consultants to successfully onboard new clients onto the company’s Global Payroll Outsourcing and SaaS solutions. This role focuses on ensuring that all new client implementations are fully automated, aligned with the defined scope, and executed in line with established implementation processes.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team for the effective onboarding of new clients.
- Allocate resources and assign client accounts based on workload, expertise, and project complexity.
- Conduct resource forecasting and demand planning across multiple concurrent projects.
- Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Identify high-potential employees and provide training and career development opportunities.
- Apply project governance models to ensure accountability and project milestone tracking.
- Align implementation efforts with strategic business goals in collaboration with Project and Program Managers.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation process for new payroll outsourcing and SaaS clients.
- Ensure that all implementations utilize fully automated solutions that align with the agreed project scope.
- Enforce the use of standardized automated workflows, integration frameworks, and API-driven solutions to eliminate manual interventions.
- Ensure accurate and timely data collection, automated migration, and system configuration.
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions with clients to define payroll setup needs, ensuring all configurations adhere to established standards.
- Oversee automated payroll system testing, parallel runs, and issue resolution before go-live.
- Ensure that all statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements are met for new implementations.
- Provide hands-on support for complex implementations and serve as the final escalation point for new client onboarding issues.
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks including RACI models, risk logs, and milestone tracking.
- Serve as the primary regional escalation point for high-impact or cross-functional project issues.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve issues, and align deliverables.
- Conduct regular project status calls, steering committee reviews, and client update sessions.
- Manage scope, risks, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
- Align cross-departmental inputs to streamline the go-live process and reduce delays.
- Track client success KPIs such as satisfaction, go-live readiness, adoption rates, and feedback.
- Collaborate with the BAU teams post-implementation to ensure a successful transition and ongoing client engagement.
- Proactively identify early signs of potential dissatisfaction and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to automated implementation models and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a single source of truth via centralized documentation platforms (e.g., Monday.com).
- Drive automation initiatives to minimize manual processes and improve data accuracy.
- Collaborate with IT/Product on API integrations and client self-service capabilities.
- Enforce compliance with all internal and regulatory audit standards.
- Continuously review and enhance implementation frameworks with the latest technologies.
- Track key performance metrics: time-to-value, automation level, SLA adherence, and go-live success rate.
- Conduct monthly business reviews with the Implementation Director.
- Monitor client satisfaction and internal efficiency to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work with the Training team to upskill staff in automation, compliance, and SaaS best practices.
- Conduct peer reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions for continuous improvement.
