Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts.)

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design:

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plans.

Test Execution and Reporting:

• Execute manual and automated tests.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on test progress and outcomes.
• Work closely with the development team to understand the code changes and the impact on the product.

Automation and Tools:

• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Create automated test scripts and maintain the automation framework.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
