Description

The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing mechanical engineering tasks related to scaffolding, painting, insulation, and Passive Fire Protection (PFP) for our Oil and gas services. With a strong background in these disciplines, coupled with excellent communication skills, the Project Coordinator will ensure projects run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Oversee and manage project tasks related to scaffolding, painting, insulation, and PFP, ensuring timely and quality execution.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all activities align with industry and company health, safety, and environmental standards.

Liaison: Act as the primary contact between the engineering team and stakeholders to address queries, provide updates, and resolve any issues.

Reporting: Produce regular project status reports detailing progress, challenges, and solutions.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of project tasks.

Continuous Improvement: Recommend process and technical improvements based on project experiences and industry best practices.

Client Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and to foster positive working relationships.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

A minimum of 3 years experience in oil and gas services, with hands-on knowledge in scaffolding, painting, insulation, and PFP.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project management certification.

Experience in a similar coordination or supervisory role in the Oil and gas sector.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in both office and on-site environments.

Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
