Description

Our Client, a leading Pressure Vessels manufacture is looking for a Production Supervisor for their unit in Dubai.

Production Operations: 

• Ensure manufacturing activity is in line wherein Safety, Quality and client specifications meet 
• Develops and implement department plans as per job orders received, and marking scheduled delivery dates, establishing priorities and sequences. 
• Be open and flexible to changes as requested by the customer (internal & external). Monitor the production process and change the schedules from time to time. 
• Production plan reports being filed on a regular basis and review at intervals if production has followed the plan. If deviation, analyze reason. 
• Maintain a record of redone jobs to assess areas of the defect so extra caution is exercised for future.
• Ensuring the department is operated in the most cost-effective manner by optimum utilization and distribution of manpower, together with goals of production on a day-to-day basis communicated down to grass root level. 
• Oversee the smooth running of operation, manufacturing, and maintenance to prevent departmental delays.
• Plan activity associated with other departments and give them adequate notice for required tasks in advance.

Process Improvement: 

• Responsible for continuous process improvement activity.
• Encouraging team players to strive for continued innovation and good change.
• Controlling processes, foreseeing production bottlenecks and deriving at corrective measures.
• Coordinate setup and implement a standard operating procedure (SOP) for all production operations.
