Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers as necessary to ensure proper adhesion of paint or coating.
2. Paint Application: Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring even coverage and desired texture.
3. Color Mixing: Mix and match paints to desired colors according to specifications or customer preferences, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
4. Repair and Restoration: Perform repairs on surfaces, including filling cracks, holes, and imperfections, and addressing water damage or other surface issues before painting.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment, such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with paints, chemicals, and equipment, including proper ventilation, protective gear usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
7. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their painting needs, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
