Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment in oil & gas facilities. This role is vital to ensuring reliable plant operations and minimizing downtime while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities.

Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment.

Inspect systems and identify potential maintenance issues.

Collaborate with other technicians and engineers.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.

Ensure spare parts are available and in good condition.

Follow safety protocols during all maintenance tasks.

Assist with equipment upgrades and installations.

Respond to maintenance emergencies promptly.

Participate in safety and technical training programs.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or trade certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation fields.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance roles in oil & gas.

Strong technical troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of maintenance management systems.

Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.

Ability to work in challenging environments.
