Description
•To support Logistics Base operations by providing in-house expertise and guidance for lifting operations and the management and inspection of all lifting equipment including lifting appliances and lifting accessories on incoming/outgoing cargo. Ensure the certification for all lifting equipment is up to date and meets current standards.
- Supervise, plan and Execute the lifting Plan operation within area of operation/activities
- Carry out receipt and pre delivery inspection on all lifting equipment and ensure the equipment is appropriate and safe for use.
- Check that lifting equipment’s load integrity and stability are satisfactory.
- Review lifting equipment certification and inspection reports and ensure details are correct and meet the standards.
- Undertake the pre slinging and containerization of cargo to ensure correct security of load being lifted and transported.
- Supervise the activities of contracted personnel to ensure that their work is carried out correctly and to the required standards.
Job Specification
RAWAFED RECRUITMENT LLC is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Lifting Inspector in the field of Engineering in one of their office located in Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate should have diploma or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering study or nay other technical discipline qualification and atleast 10 years of experience. The position require support, logistics, base, operations, providing, management, inspection, equipment, appliances, accessories, cargo, current, standards, area, activities, receipt, safe, check, good command of english language, written and spoken, computer skills, load, review, security, personnel mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.
