A Reputed Joinery company, based in Dubai, is hiring UAE experienced Joinery Estimators / Quantity Surveyors. Only qualified candidates please apply.

Job Description

Pre-Contract (EST)

1. Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information available to prepare tender

2. Start estimates setting priorities.

3. prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation

4. Take off quantities

5. Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.

6. Alternatively obtain prices through Purchase.

7. Complete tender documents for submission.

8. Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.

9. Reports updating

Post Contract (QS)

1. Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre tender and post contract matters

2. Post contract liaison with clients

3. Post contract liaison with design team

4. Carry out take offs for material procurement

5. Preparation and submission of interim valuations

6. measure and value the work done on site

7. Manage and value variations

8. Preparation and submission of several works final account

9. Agreement of final accounts

10. Maintains quality service by following organization policies and standards.

11. Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

12. Reports updating

13. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

14. Any other related tasks not limited to the above-mentioned duties.
