Description

1. Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of all food menus including carryout and catering menus.

2. Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.

3. Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests.

4. Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.

5. Serve welcome drinks upon guests’ arrival.

6. Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.

7. Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed.

8. Remove dirty dishes and utensils.

9. Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.

10. Inform restaurant staffs about customer’s feedback or request.
