Description

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain bank transfer letters

• Ensure financial records are maintained

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts

• Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met

• Prepare financial management reports

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes

• Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities

• Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process

• Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses

• Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues

• ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data

Qualifications and Competencies

• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of taxation, audit, finance and accounting work experience

• Fully versed with International Accounting Standards

• Proficient in Microsoft office suite and accounting software

• Able to analyze financial records, bank statements, contracts

• Can prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies and other ad hoc requirements

• Keen on details and can work independently with less supervision on simultaneous engagements

• Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and motivational skills
