Description

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial cleaning experience

• Be able to read, write and speak English

Professional and Personal Skills:

• Working knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting materials

• Flexible & hardworking

• Presentable and carry a positive attitude

• Ability to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so.

Other requirements:

• Available to work in shifts, on weekends & public holidays

Job Description:

• Position reports to Floor Supervisor

• Follow cleaning schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) as outlined

• Maintain the cleanliness of the facility through a variety of detailed cleaning using sweeping equipment, hoses, and blowers

• Remove dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes and fixtures

• Apply acids and solvents to surfaces to remove stains and dirt

• Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas

• Replenishing consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) if required.

• Perform all duties in compliance with safety guidelines and requirements

• Report all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor
