Description

A Civil Engineer experienced in general contracting & civil maintenance projects with over 8 years of UAE experience successfully handing over projects. The ideal candidate will be tasked with executing & handing-over multiple general civil & renovation projects and should meet the below listed criteria:

• Strong technical understanding of various Civil maintenance works:

• Tiles installation (ceramic, porcelain, wood parquet, marble, interlock/pasco, etc.)

• Painting (internal & external using various types of paint types & textures acrylic, oil paint, epoxy, etc.)

• Carpentry & Joinery (doors & bedroom wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, windows, aluminum frames, glass partitions, etc.)

• Rooms & partitions works (block works, gypsum board, cement board, false ceiling, etc.)

• Concrete & structural works (concrete platform for machinery installation, foundation for caravan, light poles, and other installations).

• Waterproofing works

• Bathroom sanitary ware installation (bathtub, washbasin, WC, etc.)

• Water supply & drainage networks replacement and testing

In addition to the above mentioned, the ideal candidate is:

 Capable of quickly find & mobilize qualified manpower for new projects (foremen, driver, masons, painters, carpenters, joiners, electricians, plumbers, etc.)

 Well versed with all major material brands and suppliers; knows how to source them at the best possible price.

 Has existing relation with material suppliers in Abu Dhabi

 Conscious of controlling project costs within budget

 Knowledgeable of occupational health & safety (HSE) site requirements

 Experienced in managing works of sub-contractors such as Fire, Elevator, Automatic Gates, CCTV & Access Control, etc.

 Able to read & understand CAD drawings for Civil & MEP systems.

 Familiar with Abu Dhabi Municipality permit requirements

 Familiar with waste management requirements of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

 Strong in communication (written & spoken)

 Good with MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook for preparing quotations, completion reports, snags, email correspondence, etc.

 Holder of bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

 Preferably native Arabic speaker

 Valid UAE driving license.
