Description

• Project planning: Review project requirements, drawings, specifications, budgets, and schedules.
  • Design and calculations: Prepare or review structural, civil, drainage, road, foundation, and other engineering designs.
  • Site supervision: Monitor construction activities to ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and enginering standards.
  • Quality control: Inspect materials and workmanship and ensure construction meets required quality standards
  • Quantity surveying: Calculate quantities of materials, prepare BOQs, and monitor material usage and project costs.
  • Contractor coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and suppliers.
  • Progress monitoring: Track project progress, identify delays, and help implement corrective actions.
  • Health and safety: Ensure construction activities comply with applicable health and safety requirements.
  • Technical problem-solving: Identify site or design issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
  • Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports, inspection requests, technical reports, and other project records.
  • Testing and inspections: Arrange or witness tests for concrete, soil, asphalt, materials, and completed works as required.
  • As-built documentation: Review and maintain as-built drawings and final project documentation.
  • Client and authority coordination: Communicate with clients, consultants, and relevant government authorities for approvals and inspections
  • Cost and resource management: Help control labor, equipment, materials, and project expenses.
  • Handover and close-out: Support snagging, final inspections, commissioning, and project handover.
