Job description

We are looking for CDP for our Restaurant. ( Hot Kitchen Chef)
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes to the highest culinary standards, following recipes and guidelines established by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
Station Management: Oversee and manage a designated section of the kitchen, such as grill, sauté, or pastry, ensuring all dishes are prepared efficiently and in a timely manner.
Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control measures to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size.
Stock Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and availability.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the kitchen team, including Sous Chefs, Commis Chefs, and other Chef de Parties, to coordinate food production and maintain a smooth workflow.
Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Training: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff, including Commis Chefs, and assist in their training and development.
Menu Development: Contribute to menu planning and development, offering creative ideas and suggestions for new dishes and improvements.
Adaptability: Adapt to changing menus and guest preferences, ensuring flexibility in food preparation.
Cost Control: Help control food and labor costs by minimizing wastage, accurately portioning dishes, and following cost-control guidelines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or culinary establishment.
Culinary degree or relevant culinary certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Creativity and passion for food.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots and equipment.
Stamina and endurance to work in a high-temperature kitchen environment.
