Accounts Manager

Rashid Al Jabri Group of Companies invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Accounts Manager to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, is detail oriented, can prioritize effectively, familiar with managerial and administrative factors of their role, with a passion to build relationships in the workplace. This is a senior position and candidates applying must have 8+ years of experience in a similar position.

Purpose of role and primary responsibility:

Independently handle all the matters relating to AP, AR, Cash, Bank and Fixed Asset. To have full control on the books of accounts and to implement all the Policies set by the Management.

Main responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable

• Handling the cash transactions using the cash registers.

• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statement.

• Ensure proper management of daily cash accounts.

• Preparation of daily cash flow and send it to the concerns.

• Managing booking keeping and accounting on daily basis related to cash and bank.

• Check, Verify and process invoices

• Prepare payments for signature and upload the payments directly wherever it’s applicable.

• Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices

• Prepare monthly corporate card reconciliation.

• Monthly closing of books and monthly MIS reporting

• Preparing daily operational MIS reports for services sold

• Assist in preparation of Balance Sheet and Income Statement

• Assist with cash flow projections

• Assist in Variances analysis

• Coordination with HR for salary disbursal of employees

• Fixed Asset Management for Corporate Office

• Over Viewing the Central Procurement process, Preparing LPO and other related work.

• Handle Statutory Audit

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Must have 8+ years’ experience in finance

• MBA in finance, Chartered Accountant or minimum CA intermediate

• Excellent knowledge of core accounting principle’s including consolidation

• Familiar with managerial, administrative, and technical aspects of accounting.
